Researchers at IIT Delhi have developed a novel treatment for glioblastoma, an aggressive
brain tumor with limited treatment options. Led by PhD student Vidit Gaur and Associate
Professor Jayanta Bhattacharyya, the team created "Immunosomes," a nanoformulation that
combines a CD40 agonist antibody with RRX-001. In preclinical trials, this treatment
eradicated tumors in mice and generated long-lasting immune memory, preventing future
tumor recurrence. This breakthrough offers hope for glioblastoma patients, with plans to
advance to human clinical trials
